Please backport irrlicht 1.7.3+dfsg1-1 (universe) from quantal to
precise.

Reason for the backport:

irrlicht >= 1.7.3 is required in order to backport supertuxkart to precise

Testing:

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s quantal -d precise irrlicht

Note that, due to bug #888665, the backport of supertuxkart won't be
able to build from this new version. :(

We can still do the backport(s) though, if you want, and supertuxkart
will build when the bug gets fixed.

Oh, I had no idea that backported packages can't build-dep on other
backports, sorry. :(

Regardless, I would still like to see a backport of irrlicht 1.7.3, not
just because of a number of minor fixes/enhancements in irrlicht itself,
but because previous versions of irrlicht in Ubuntu were built with
debug mode on, and causing supertuxkart to issue the following warning
at startup:

!!!!! Performance warning: Irrlicht compiled with debug mode.!!!!!
!!!!! This can have a significant performance impact !!!!!
