Call for votes: Vacant Developer Membership Board seat

The Developer Membership Board has started a vote to fill the vacant
position.

The Developer Membership Board is responsible for reviewing and
approving new Ubuntu developers. It evaluates prospective Ubuntu
developers and decides when to entrust them with developer privileges.

There are three candidates:

 Andrew Mitchell (~ajmitch)

 Barry Warsaw (~barry)

 Charlie Smotherman (~cjsmo)

The vote closes on 2012-02-14 at approximately 00:00 UTC.

Ballots were mailed to all members of ~ubuntu-dev who have a public
e-mail address stored in LP or linked GPG keys. If you are a member of
~ubuntu-dev and didn't receive a ballot, please contact me privately.

whose appointment was confirmed at the meeting yesterday.

The Developer Membership board would like to thank Michael Bienia for
his many years of service on the DMB and the MOTU council and wish him
well on his future endeavours.


[0]: We ended it a few hours early so that we could confirm the results
     during our meeting. There hadn't been any votes in the previous few
     days, so hopefully the early closing didn't affect anyone.
