Flatpak problem

Sascha Manns-3
Hello list,

today i tried out in the console:

flatpak remote-add --from gnome-nightly https://sdk.gnome.org/gnome-nightly.flatpakrepo

But i'm got:

Can't load file gnome-nightly: No such file or directory

A wget works:

sascha@sascha-desktop:~/Downloads$ LANG=C wget https://sdk.gnome.org/gnome-nightly.flatpakrepo
--2017-03-10 00:29:06--  https://sdk.gnome.org/gnome-nightly.flatpakrepo
Resolving sdk.gnome.org (sdk.gnome.org)... 209.132.180.169
Connecting to sdk.gnome.org (sdk.gnome.org)|209.132.180.169|:443... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 2010 (2.0K) [text/plain]
Saving to: 'gnome-nightly.flatpakrepo.1

But why i can't use flatpak for installing the GNOME Framework?

I'm running a 16.10 Ubuntu with GNOME3.

Greetings
Sascha

For those commands to work, you probably need flatpak and ostree from yakkety-proposed. It's still in -proposed because I haven't sat down and verified https://launchpad.net/bugs/1656712 yet. I need to make sure that the upgrade works correctly for those who already have flatpak apps installed.
I have ostree and flatpak installed.
The usage of the old syntax (Installing a remote repo and installing an app) works for me.
I installed a 3.22 platform and a org.gnome.Games app.

But if i'm using the new syntax it ends with a:

flatpak remote-add --from gnome https://sdk.gnome.org/gnome.flatpakrepo
Can't load file gnome: No such file or directory

Very strange.

Another thing i've found is the following. flatpak list should give out a a list of installed platforms and apps. But it looks like:

sascha@sascha-desktop:~/Downloads$ flatpak list org.gnome.Games org.gnome.gedit

So the platform isn't visible there. But it was installed correctly with:

sascha@sascha-desktop:~/Downloads$ flatpak --user install gnome org.gnome.Platform 3.22 13 delta parts, 90 loose fetched; 229985 KiB transferred in 65 seconds                                                                                                                                                 Zugehörige werden installiert: org.gnome.Platform.Locale 4 metadata, 1 content objects fetched; 1 KiB transferred in 4 seconds                                                                                                                                                  15 metadata, 69 content objects fetched; 1117 KiB transferred in 7 seconds

Greetings
Sascha
