It's been rather quiet here, usually teams post when they got their cds,
if any APPROVED LoCo has not received their cds could you MAIL ME  OFF
LIST please and I will follow up on it.

I know your a one army Valkyrie Laura, but I feel we shouldn't be having
private communication for community issues with private individuals
representing our partners at Canonical.

Either post publicly to the mailing list or post to a community board
elected to lead and deal with those issues or directly to the person at
Canonical with a possible CC to either of the others.

Transparency and openness are not what happens when issues are made
private.

I am sorry but I disagree with you on that point. It is simply a way
of dealing with issues that only concerns some team on a private
manner without the whole flow of email to the whole mailing list. And
I think it makes great sense.

I think Laura's actions and the rest of all actions done by the LoCo
Council were always done that way...

Then you mis-read what I was saying, I said that the person to contact
is the Canonical person directly if it really is a private issue. Unless
there is some sort of sorting function Laura is doing on behalf of the
LoCo Council and the Canonical contact, but I don't know that.

Anyway, concern voiced, if it has legs it'll run and get fixed,
otherwise no sense beating the issue over the head.

The French LoCo Team just received the LiveCDs for the France country.
Just in time to give them at the Ubuntu Party in Paris.

Big thank you to all the LoCo Council for taking that in charge.
