Two tiny typos in Breezy Ubuntu Installation Guide

Kevin Cole
Hi,

First a question: Do I get any karma in Launchpad
for finding tiny, tiny typos in old documentation? ;-)

No? C'est la vie.

Anyway, I hope I'm not repeating something that's already been
noticed and taken care of. Just so it doesn't creep into later
documentation, I thought it might be worth mentioning. In the
"Ubuntu Installation Guide" distributed on the Edubuntu
CD, "Section 6.3.2.1. Partitioning Your Disks" has an
awfully big swap partition on hdb... And while we're on
the subject, partition #7 is also larger than the physical
disk.  ;-) (Change hdb7 and hdb8 partitions from "G" to "M"
and everything should add up close to 80 GB.)

(From /doc/install/manual/en/ch06s03.html#di-partition)

  IDE1 master (hda) - 6.4 GB WDC AC36400L
        #1 primary   16.4 MB     ext2       /boot
#2 primary  551.0 MB     swap       swap
        #3 primary    5.8 GB     ntfs
           pri/log    8.2 MB     FREE SPACE

  IDE1 slave (hdb) - 80.0 GB ST380021A
        #1 primary   15.9 MB     ext3
        #2 primary  996.0 MB     fat16
        #3 primary    3.9 GB     xfs        /home
        #5 logical    6.0 GB     ext3       /
        #6 logical    1.0 GB     ext3       /var
        #7 logical  498.8 GB     ext3
#8 logical  551.5 GB     swap       swap
        #9 logical   65.8 GB     ext2

(I assume this is an appropriate place to report typos, etc.
If not, sorry 'bout that, and please let me know where to
report stuff.  Also, if that's already been reported, where
would I find it?)

Seems there is a precedent for filing such stuff in Malone.
So now it's filed as bug 4637.

https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/4637
