=== Upcoming Vacant Developer Membership Board seats: Call for
nominations ===

Jeremy Bicha announces that terms for five members of the Ubuntu
Developer Membership Board are close to expiring, and puts out a call
for nominations to fill the spots. Members of the ~ubuntu-dev team in
Launchpad will be eligible to vote, with the vote commencing on Tuesday,
April 17, 2018. They are seeking Ubuntu Developers who “should be well
qualified to evaluate prospective Ubuntu developers and decide when to
entrust them with developer privileges or to grant them Ubuntu
membership status.”

Didier writes of the current status of the efforts to create the new
Communitheme which will be the default Ubuntu theme in a near future.
The polished Ambiance theme remains as default for the 18.04 release.
For those interested he advises on some of the detail processes in the
creation. Currently the new theme is available for testing in two snap
packages. Testing and critique are most welcome.

Mohamed Alaa discovers a cross-site-scripting vulnerability in
