downloads disappearing in kmldonkey

Donatas G.
I have a strange new problem: the files that I downloaded via Kmldonkey
(edonkey2000 network) do not go into ~/.kmldonkey/incoming - they simply
disappear. They no longer appear in the downloads list of kmldonkey, but they
are not in either temp (jugding by the number of files that should be there -
since filenames are not recognizable) or incoming folders either.

they do, however, appear on the list of uploads of Kmldonkey.

I tried to do searches by exact name with kfind, to no avail.

Anyone had this problem? knows a fix?

Could this be due to the fact, that I do not see "incoming' directory anywhere
in Mldonkey configuration dialogs?

When I open Setting -> Mldonkey configuration
Paths dialog

I see
temp_directory ./temp
default_sharing_strategy all_files

but there is no entry for
incoming_directory
or something like it.

If that is the problem, how do I fix it? I see no possibility to add new
entries in that dialog window.

There is no such dir in my dir tree - ANYWHERE IN ~/ DIR. .... I have:

~/.kmldonkey/
~/.kmldonkey/incoming
~/.kmldonkey/searches
~/.kmldonkey/temp

The incoming files used to go to incoming, but they no longer do. The files in
incoming also do not appear in the downloads view...

The files  that I have downloaded fully and that have disappeared (I did
search, and it turned in nothing) DO APPEAR in the Uploads view of KMldonkey.
But, as I said, I CANNOT FIND THEM IN ANY WAY AT MY DISPOSAL.

I see shared in Kmldonkey's Shares >> Shared folders dialog, but it is a link
that leads to nowhere, it says:

shared all_files

I did create a real shared dir:

~/.kmldonkey/shared

Not sure that will help. I am realy desperate, plese help me somebody!

I would be very grateful if somebody looked up this bug report and see if
anything can be done...

Don't look in ~/.kmldonkey/incoming.

Look for where you run the mlnet command.

For example, I run the mlnet in ~/P2P, ok? And the directory shared is in
~/P2P/shared

I don't know if you run the demon mlnet.

Look for in your hard disk a directory called incoming o shared.

Bye
